To category an article as an article, than you should write more than 400 words. If you are using Microsoft Word editor for writing, than find the word count. If you are using OpenOffice.org (This editor is like Microsoft Word, but is FREE and have no License) than you can see the word count at: ==> File ==> Preference.
An article with four hundred words is really not a long article, but a short article. A long article may be between 1000 - 5000 words.
Just writing a few lines on a piece of paper, or on the computer screen, does not make it is an article, but may be a commercial or an idea.
For an article to be meaningful, you may need to include explanations and examples. If you don`t use examples in the article, the reader will not get a clear and deep understanding of your subject. Do you for example remember how Jesus was teaching? He always used parables and life stories in His teaching. In this way the people got a deeper understanding of his message.
If it is possible, than use the real name of the person. But remember to ask for permission before you use it. If you don`t have permission from the person, you can always use a "fake" name. Remember thoug to write that in the article. You could for example write: Due to protection of the identity of this person, we will call him "John". This means that this is not the real name, but I just call the person in the story for John.
