Godfather or Father God?

Religion presents God as if he is a mafia godfather. They want you to fear Him instead of fall in love with Him. Jesus portrayed the truth about God in all He said and did. He told His disciples that when they see Him, they are actually seeing what God is like (John 14:9).

Divine Harvest

Telling people they need to love God without teaching them first how God loves them is like a farmer expecting a harvest without having planted any seeds.

Understanding New Covenant Obedience

The foundation of biblical obedience comes from how a person “hears” God’s Word. Sadly, many see obedience as just following rules, laws, and commandments. That isn’t the obedience God is looking for or desires from us. If it was, what is the point of the heart change the new covenant brings to those who choose to believe the gospel?

Is It Possible to Lose Your Confidence in God?

“Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you” (Psalm 143:8).

Some people want to give Jesus their hearts

Jesus didn't come to earth so that we could give Him our hearts. He came to give us His heart.
Religion turns repentance into a painful process filled with guilt and shame based on the fear of punishment and rejection. Jesus taught that repentance is a process of healing and acceptance that restores people to a place of wholeness and peace in Him.

What is a relationship with God based on?

Jesus gives us some incredibly unique insights to God’s heart in the story of the Prodigal Son, (Luke 15:11–32)

How to Persuade Your Heart

You will often hear me talk about how important it is to persuade your heart of God’s love for you. Recently, I have been asked by some, how I persuade or convince my heart of this life-changing truth? It isn’t a difficult process at all, but it does take some focus.
