Harvestime International Institute
The very existence of Harvestime International Institute is founded upon equipping you and those like you with the tools needed to spread the Gospel. After finishing this course you will be available to the Holy Spirit to teach the message that Jesus taught. This means that the message you are spreading, will be powerful, and will be overwhelmingly meaningful and relevant to the unsaved ones around you.
Message that was originally delivered by Jesus
One problem that is encountered in witnessing, the message many individuals get is not the message that was originally delivered by Jesus. Many of the messengers of these messages are well meaning, but wrong. This course will direct your feet down the path of absolute truth.
Truth is truth. Truth is what God Spoke through Jesus and truth is what you must speak. This then, is the foundation and purpose of this course. This course has an overriding purpose:
Your understanding God’s word.
Guidance of the Holy Spirit
The method of this course is the Guidance of the Holy Spirit. After the Holy Spirit, another indispensable piece of equipment for this course is the Bible. You the student will need constant prayerful guidance. You will be participating in much prayer during this course.
When Bible study is approached in this way, organized, guided by the Spirit, and thoughtful, your maturity in the faith will grow. This is precisely why the course is organized in this way.
You will know how to study God’s word
At the end of this course you will know how to study God’s word, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, for yourself and not depending on the interpretation supplied by others. When done in a prayerful manner the Bible will become to you, the written word of God. The best commentary on the Bible is the Bible itself. The answer the questions about the Bible are contained in the Bible. During this course you will find yourself in making and organizing outlines, using and making notes for later study. Finally you will find yourself learning the use of charts. Charting of what is written reduces the chance of misunderstanding of what was actually the intent of the author intended meaning.
